Burgäschisee
Lake dwellers built settlements on the banks of the Burgäschisee some 6000 years ago. Findings from that period are on display in the Natural History Museum in Solothurn.
A large part of the lake is a conservation area, with unusual plants such as sundew and cranberries growing in the immediate vicinity.
